Bathroom Remodel

We got a call for a bathroom remodel that needed some switches, lights, and outlets moved/installed. We found that the bathroom was on a branch circuit with other rooms in the house, and they had already had issues with a light and/or switch not working. After some investigation it was decided to run a new dedicated branch circuit for the bathroom. We installed an AFCI/GFCI breaker to protect everything, and tamper resistant receptacles to keep the kiddos safe. We made sure to explain to the customer that, even though the receptacles aren't GFCI receptacles, that the entire circuit was protected by the breaker. We also informed them that if they had a tripped circuit, they would have to reset the breaker. We took the time to explain nuisance tripping on AFCI's to them, and told them to call if they had any issues or concerns. As always, we think an informed and supported customer is a happy customer.
