Service, meter, and panel upgrades

We had an upgrade from 200 amps to 400 amps for a local body shop that's setting up a new location in an older building. This is phase 1 of the work for this customer. We'll have another post about phase 2 later.

For this phase we upgraded the meter base, service mast, and service entrance wires for 400 amps, replaced the old 200 amp breaker panel, added another 200 amp breaker panel for the equipment we'll be installing in phase 2, and added another ground rod. We also installed a surge protection device in each 200 amp panel to protect the office electronics in the replacement panel, and the new equipment that will be in the additional panel.
